The village of Frasne-Le-Château , named after the castle, is located in Haûte-Saone, in the Franche-Comté department. It is surrounded by three major cities (Besançon, Vesoul and Gray). On the display on the right  you can have a virtual tour of the village (the castle is not visible because of the trees in the background). The link below goes to the Google map system which allows you to create your own  itinerary.
Reaching  Frasne Le Chateau from abroad can be done by flying to one of the cities served by the TGV.
Paris, Geneve, Lyon, Strasburg and Baden Baden are all 2 hours away from the Besançon Franche-Comté train station (15km from the castle), not to be mistaken with the station of Besançon Viotte.
To reach us by car from Besançon's town center drive on the N57/E23 (Route de Vesoul) for about 3 miles, then turn on D1 (Route de Besançon)  in direction of Cussey sur l'Ognon, then continue on the D474  in direction of Vesoul. You'll find the exit to Frasne-le-Château after about 1.5 miles on the left.
